In 2010, Daniel Onyango started a band called Afrika Jambo Beats. The group fuses the traditional Kenyan instruments (Nyatiti) and modern instruments to produce a unique fusion sound that includes traditional chants and adlibs.
The fusion is heightened by the Nyatiti an eight string, Djembe and other African traditional percussions which form the basis of the sweet melodies.
