Jah lyric is a reggae and dancehall artist born and raised in Nairobi Kenya. Having realised his interest in music at an early age, he made a conscious decision to work on becoming a song writer of high repute. He begun listening to music, lyrics and arrangements more keenly and after listening to several music genres, he stuck with what he had grown up listening to which is Reggae. Still influenced by his upbringing in the church he went on to becoming the lead singer and song writer of the band heart and soul the first gospel reggae band.
In 2015 him and four others formed a reggae band popularly known as Gravitti with him as the lead singer and songwriter.
He went out on his own on 29th December 2016 to curve out a path towards his destiny as solo artist In the first two years he recorded twelve songs under Head Cornerstone Entertainment and one with mavic records. Having finally and successfully found and redefined his sound, he is currently working on several projects that are being released and that are to be released at different times through out the year
An artist with a loyal, powerful and vibrant fan base, Jah Lyric has shared a stage with several great artists of global repute namely; Morgan Heritage, Capleton King Shango, Queen Ifrika, Damien Jr Gong Marley, Mighty Culture, Freddy Mcgreggor and he has performed in three editions of reggae in the sun
Jah Lyric works with the believe that music is more than a tool to be used to entertain but can be used as a medium that can transfer inspiration and motivation, opinions and convictions, information and revelation to and from the people. Jah Lyric intends to do exactly that.
