Juliani is an award-winning hip-hop artist, entrepreneur, ambassador, speaker and activist. He has over 16 years under his belt in the Kenyan and African hip-hop industry and is considered a pioneer within the industry. He has performed in Kenya, 6 other African countries, Europe and United States of America.
Juliani is about to release his fourth album, Masterpiece. His albums Kilio Cha Haki, Pulpit Kwa Street and Exponential Potential and have garnered rave reviews among fans and critics. He has previously been signed to Kijiji Records and Gatwitch Records. He has collaborated with Sarabi, Jua Cali and Anthony Faulkner among other artists.
Juliani is the recipient of 8 awards namely: Best Gospel artiste and the Hip Hop artiste (2011 Kisima Music Awards); Best Live Performer (2011 Insyder CHAT Awards); Male Artist of the Year (2010 Insyder CHAT Awards); Songwriter of the Year (2010 Groove Awards); Hip-Hop Song of the Year and Album of the Year (2009 Groove Awards) and Best Male Artist award (2008 US Talanta Awards).
He is the founder of Dandora Hip Hop City, a community space for creatives in Nairobi. Dandora Hip Hop City is home to School of Rhyme, a program tailored to creatives to grow their craft.
