The name Brown Music is derived from the Colour “BROWN” itself, whereby if you mix all the colours of the world you will get the colour brown. Hence the style of music that The Brown Music plays is a mixture of different styles, from Soul to Jazz to Reggae to Rhythm and Blues you name it, the Brown Music Band has got it with an Urban Afro touch. They are a collection of multi talented musicians that create a unique sound which they now call Brown.
The lead singer, Stan has born in 1979, and started singing actively in 2006 as a backup vocalist for the first winner of the Tusker Project Fame series, Ms. Valerie Kimani. He went solo in 2008 and released his first and only studio album, Kenyan Debut, in 2009 which is currently available on i-Tunes and The Penya Africa music stable. Since then he constituted the Brown music band in 2012 after affiliating with Kenya Kona Group as a creative artist with whom he has performed several live shows to date.
