Lavosti has a divine yet seductive voice that can get crowds of people up and moving. Multi-talented, he plays the drums and guitar with skill rivaling that voice. Lavosti crosses many musical genres, but his passion and his message are in Reggae music and Rastafari, spreading the vibes with live music.
Roots Connection Band is a Roots Reggae band based in Nairobi formed in 2016 and has since been featured in a number of high profile Reggae Music events in Kenya. The band was featured in December 2016 at the Jamhuri Reggae Festival headlined by Capleton and Queen Ifrika. The band also curtain raised for Midnite Akae Beka featuring Reggae 5 , Don Carlos featuring Jamaican artiste Donovan Francis , and Damian Marley featuring Jah Lyric.
Among the artistes Roots Connection Band has fronted are Heartical Spence, general Onyx,Rita Black Omollo , Nazizi , Jah Pillah, Levysill , Ras Mtapa, Donovan Francis and other aspiring artistes.
